Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. You will design, model, and draw custom products using CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD, creating BOMs and specifications for prototyping, manufacturing and testing.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, QA and Operations to ensure designs meet customer requirements and regulatory standards, while providing guidance to production teams and driving design improvements for

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years of Design Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new custom product iterations or improve existing designs using engineering principles, CAD software and innovative methods.
Independently own design outputs to manufacturing for standard product configurations.
Create models and drawings of custom products using CAD software.
Prepare detailed drawings, BOMs, specs and documentation for prototyping, manufacturing and testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer and production requirements, quality standards and compliance.
Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing during production and issue resolution.
