Job summary

JBT Marel in Glinde, Germany, is seeking a Design Engineer II to join the Prepared Foods - Design Engineering team. You will develop and maintain mechanical designs, coordinate subcontracted development tasks, and support products through their full lifecycle in an international project environment.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will translate customer requirements into practical designs, ensure compliance with regulations, and create comprehensive technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Relevant experience in mechanical design and machine building or industrial equipment.
• Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks).
• Familiarity with PDM systems (Windchill) and ERP systems for BOM management.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management and regulatory compliance.
• Strong German and English communication skills.
