Job summary

LJA is seeking a Design Engineer to contribute to land development projects using AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, and other design tools. The role involves producing design, cost estimates, exhibits, and development support for public and private clients, with opportunities to grow in a dynamic, employee-owned environment.

Ideal candidates will have a BS in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited), FE exam progress, and experience in civil engineering, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or ABET-accredited program.
• FE Exam completed or passed.
• Experience in engineering projects and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical experts to perform design calculations and generate drawings.
• Inform design iterations by investigating site conditions and constraints.
• Prepare equipment/material specifications and technical exhibits.
• Coordinate with project teams in a fast-paced office environment.
• Provide project administrative support and essential documentation.
