Job summary

TopFlite Components LLC seeks a Design Engineer to design and optimize electro-mechanical components, focusing on high-quality connector products. You will work with the VP/GM and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient processes and accurate product costing for Sales.

The role requires 2–4 years of industry experience, strong SolidWorks skills, and excellent communication. This in-office position is located in Homestead, FL, with TopFlite moving from Miami to the area soon.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SolidWorks 3-D modeling.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Collaborate across departments to meet goals.
• Familiarity with defense/aerospace context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize electro-mechanical components, including connectors and fixtures.
• Create fixture, testing, and tooling drawings to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with maintenance to keep manufacturing well-equipped.
• Test components and assemblies as needed.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for production.
