Job summary

EchoSupply in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Design Engineer to develop and design customer-driven products onsite. You will contribute to design improvements, provide technical support to sales and customers, and coordinate with multiple departments throughout development and launch processes.

The role emphasizes hands-on design work, use of SolidWorks, and collaboration with sales for solutions aligned with customer specifications. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years in design or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience using design software such as SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design custom products within customer-based parameters.
• Develop improvements to existing products.
• Provide technical support to sales team members and customers.
• Design (70%) and develop solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans based on project needs.
• Understand and use lab equipment for part validation.
• Collaborate across departments during product development and launch.
• Use Salesforce CRM to manage opportunities.
