Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Design or Mechanical Engineering; 2 years' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design engineered solutions for customer applications following best practices.
• Support and collaborate with multiple project teams.
• Create 3D CAD models and drawings following technical standards and material specs.
• Define and analyze test results to confirm design functionality.
• Collaborate with German colleagues on engineering activities.
• Prepare, build, and optimize lines for prototypes and test vehicles.
• Interface with customers for product specifications as required.
• Design products to meet manufacturability, quality, cost, and performance targets.
• Support Development Engineers with drafting tasks as needed.
• Follow Quality and Environmental Management Systems and assist Mexico operations when required.
