Job summary

Searchmasters Inc. is seeking a Mechanical/Industrial Engineer to design and engineer fall protection and safety products in Ohio. You will create and update CAD models and drawings, working with vendors, engineers, and testing facilities on prototypes and production samples.

The role involves supporting product testing, preparing technical data for manuals, labels, and other materials, and helping improve performance, durability, and usability while maintaining design documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2–5 years of product development or design experience.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.

• Help maintain documentation for product designs and revisions.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and customers when needed.

Key Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in product development or product design, with a solid understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.
• CAD and design experience (Autodesk Inventor preferred).
