• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work hands-on with production and test equipment.

We currently have an opening for Design Engineer I in our Gowanda Electronics Facility located in Gowanda, NY. This entry-level role supports product design, development, prototyping, and testing activities for magnetic and electronic components. The ideal candidate is motivated, curious, detail-oriented, and eager to expand their engineering skillset under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Details of the Role:

The position of Design Engineer I will support the planning, development, testing, and documentation of new and existing products. During the course of a standard workday, you will assist with hands-on testing, prototype builds, design documentation, and basic product evaluations. You will work closely with senior engineers to learn design processes, standards, and customer requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and testing new magnetic and electronic components.
• Support troubleshooting and process improvements for existing designs.
• Build prototypes and assist with performance measurements.
• Update drawings, schematics, and bills of materials as needed.
• Gather and analyze test data to support engineering decisions.
• Participate in design reviews and team meetings.

Qualifying Attributes and Skills
