Job summary

Martin Aquatic in Orlando, FL seeks a seasoned engineer to produce construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD, and to develop BIM models supporting project delivery. You will coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with design intent, while applying standard practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional experience in engineering, design, or a related technical field.
• Coursework or experience in fluid mechanics, hydraulics, or piping systems.
• Hands-on Revit experience, including family placement, linked models, and sheet/annotation setup.
• Understanding of construction drawings and documentation practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate construction documents primarily in Revit, and in AutoCAD as needed.
• Develop and coordinate BIM models and project documentation.
• Prepare sheet work, annotations, schedules, and detail callouts.
• Apply engineering fundamentals to understand system design intent and identify conflicts in documentation.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and outside consultants to maintain drawing accuracy.
• Learn and apply Martin Aquatic’s design and documentation standards.
• Prioritize and manage multiple deadlines across projects.
• Support senior designers and engineers with technical documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline (Civil, Architectural, or similar)
• Professional experience in engineering, design, or a related technical field
• Coursework or experience in fluid mechanics, hydraulics, or piping systems
• Hands-on Revit experience, including family placement, linked models, and sheet/annotation setup
• Understanding of construction drawings and documentation practices
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Exposure to Revit MEP and piping tools
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, including xrefs, blocks, and sheet sets
• Familiarity with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Experience with Bluebeam, Dropbox, or Monday.com
