Infosys Nova Holdings LLC is seeking a Design Engineer to design and document Nacelle components and assemblies, including thrust reversers and inlets, in Baltimore, MD. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet standards and drive product programs.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in mechanical or aerospace, 8+ years related experience, and strong Catia/PLM skills, plus experience with Fibersim/CPD for composite design.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace.

• 4+ dedicated Aerospace experience.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD Software (Catia) & PLM (3D experience).
• Experience with composite design software, Fibersim and/or CPD preferred.
• Strong understanding of Aircraft structures & specifically Nacelle design guidelines (Composite and metallic).
• Excellent communication skills to interface with cross-functional teams.

Job Description for Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document Nacelle components and assemblies, including thrust reversers, inlets, fan cowls, and EBU systems.
• Coordinate with other functions to meet business standards, practices, and procedures as well as product/program requirements.
• Execute product processes related to design, analysis, test, materials, manufacture, quality and/or productivity.
• Perform Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations on events occurring in fleet of fielded hardware.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace
• 8+ years of related experience
• 4+ dedicated Aerospace experience
• Proficiency with 3D CAD Software (Catia) & PLM (3D experience)
• Experience with composite design software, Fibersim and/or CPD preferred
• Strong understanding of Aircraft structures & specifically Nacelle design guidelines (Composite and metallic)

• Able to work both individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to work with individuals with diverse backgrounds, experience, and education levels.
