Job summary

Kaleidoscope, an Infosys Company, is seeking a Technology Analyst in Design Engineering to join our Wichita, KS team. You will design and validate aircraft fuselage and propulsion components, balancing performance with manufacturability and cost.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in aerospace design, knowledge of fuselage, nacelle, thrust reverser, and proficiency in GD&T. You will collaborate with stakeholders, present reviews, and ensure on-time delivery of parts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of aerospace design engineering experience.
• Knowledge of fuselage, nacelle, and thrust reverser.
• Proficiency in GD&T and functional tolerance annotations.

Responsibilities

• Design, validate, manufacture, and deliver aircraft fuselage and propulsion structure components.
• Work on primary and secondary structure design, payloads design, and lofting.
• Design components considering tolerance stack-up, cost, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance.
• Expertise on GD&T functional tolerance and annotations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, present reviews and gate checks (prelim, intermediate, critical).
• Present solutions in meetings to stakeholders of the customer and ensure timely release of parts.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $110,000.00 Annually

In the role of Technology Analyst, Design Engineering, your responsibilities includes

• Design, validation, manufacture, and delivery of aircraft Fuselage and propulsion structure components.
• Areas of expertise may include primary and secondary structure design, payloads design, and lofting
• Design of components considering Tolerance stack up, cost effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
• Expertise on GD&T Functional Tolerance and Annotations
• Collaborate with stakeholders - Present Reviews and gate checks - prelim, Intermediate and Critical design review
• Present the solution in the meetings to various stake holders of the customer.
• Ensure to meet the agreed schedule with the customer and their suppliers by releasing the parts.

Qualifications Basic

• At least 3 years of experience in Aerospace Industry as a Design Engineer.
• Comprehensive knowledge on Fuselage, Nacelle, and Thrust Reverser.

Preferred

• Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
• Experience in the design of Aero-structures acelle Systems
• Strong oral and written communication skills
