Job summary

Insight Global is seeking experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to support a leading aerospace company in West Palm Beach, FL. The role covers the full product lifecycle from concept through production, with emphasis on manufacturability and performance.

You will develop innovative mechanical designs, create 3D models and drawings, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve complex challenges and support reviews and changes throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 5+ years mechanical design experience (P3).
• 8+ years mechanical design experience (P4).
• Experience with aerospace hardware design, drawings, manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative mechanical design solutions for complex aerospace hardware.
• Create and release 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Support product development through concept, detailed design, validation, and production phases.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, systems, stress, and test engineering teams.

Engineers will work throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept development and detailed design through manufacturing support, testing, and in-service engineering activities.

• Experience with aerospace hardware design, drawings, and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency with NX (Unigraphics) and Teamcenter
• Experience working in a cross-functional engineering environment
