MTC is seeking Electro-Mechanical Design Engineers to design and develop machine tools and automated machinery using Autodesk Inventor. This hands-on role collaborates with production teams and leadership, with opportunities to directly work on your own designs.

You will contribute across mechanical and electro-mechanical design, BOM creation, and component sourcing in a 4-day work week environment that supports work-life balance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in engineering, electro-mechanics, automation, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) with 3+ years.
• Exposure to linear guide rails, ballscrews, pneumatic systems, servo systems, industrial control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Electro-Mechanical Design Engineers at MTC significantly and creatively engage in the design and development of machine tools and other automated machinery using Autodesk Inventor. This is a hands-on position that works collaboratively with production teams and leadership with opportunities to work directly on projects you design.

Job Responsibilities:

• Machine System Planning
• Mechanical Machine Design using 3D CAD
• Electro-mechanical Machine Design using 3D CAD
• Creating Bills of Material (BOM’s)
• Sourcing of Parts and Components

Compensation and Schedule:

Salary Range: $70,000 to $95,000/year based on experience with opportunities for growth

Schedule : 4 Day Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7 am - 5:30 pm, with occasional Fridays as deadlines necessitate.
