Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an Instrumentation Design Engineer for an Aviation/Aerospace company in Evendale, OH. You will help design instrumentation applications for commercial and military jet engine components.

Pay range is $40-$48 per hour, negotiable based on experience and location. This role involves engineering direction, project access via IWS, adherence to OPIs, and defining sensor requirements to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Design instrumentation for development engine hardware to meet quality and functional objectives.
• Establish sensor requirements to meet customer measurement needs on engine components.
• Work within Instrumentation Workflow System (IWS) and adhere to OPIs and reference documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering direction, specifications, procedures, and drawings for instrumentation applications on development engine hardware.
• Obtain access to and work on assigned projects in the Instrumentation Workflow System (IWS).
• Obtain access to and utilize/adhere to Operating Procedures and Instructions (OPIs) and appropriate design practices and reference documents.
• Establish sensor requirements to meet customer measurement needs on engine components.
• Design, analyze, or evaluate assigned projects using sound engineering principles while adhering to standards and requirements.

Akkodis is seeking an Instrumentation Design Engineer for an Aviation/Aerospace company located in Evendale, OH. In this position you will help with designing instrumentation application on commercial and military jet engine components.

Pay Range: $40-$48/HR. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Provide engineering direction, specifications, procedures, and drawings for application of instrumentation to development engine hardware to meet quality, safety, and functional objectives.
• Obtain access to and work assigned projects in the Instrumentation Workflow System (IWS).
• Obtain access to and utilize/adhere to Operating Procedures and Instructions (OPIs) and appropriate design practices and reference documents in assigned projects.
• Establish sensor requirements to meet customer measurement needs on all types of engine components.
• The design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and specialized knowledge / skills while adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
