Studio Zerbey in Ballard, Seattle seeks a Custom Home Architect/Designer to lead design from concept through construction for high-end residential projects. This role offers meaningful design responsibility, direct mentorship, and hands-on involvement.

You will collaborate across disciplines, produce permit drawings, and mentor junior staff in a small studio with a hands-on culture and partial remote options.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
• Experience contributing to custom residential projects.
• Ability to carry design intent through documentation, coordination, and construction.
• Clear communication skills, reliability, integrity, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Pre-design site research principal led schematic design.
• Design development and production of permit and construction drawings with coordination with consultants.
• Interior design, materials and finish selection.
• Lighting and electrical design.
• Construction administration, including site visits and coordination.
