Actalent seeks a Design and Drafting Specialist in Des Moines, IA to create and review detailed engineering drawing packages for electrical, mechanical, and transmission projects. You will use AutoCAD and MicroStation to meet project specs and quality standards.

Role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fully onsite environment. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 per year with standard benefits.

• Must have post-secondary education in engineering, drafting, design technology, or related field.
• Familiarity with project management principles.
• Understanding of engineering documentation processes.
• Interest in electrical, mechanical, or transmission design and drafting.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and prepare detailed engineering drawing packages using established practices and drafting software.
• Review and verify engineering drawings for accuracy and compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support for engineering activities, project coordination, and manufacturing operations.
• Assist with project tasks to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
• Collaborate with engineering personnel and support teams to achieve project goals.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance processes, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain organized engineering documentation and drawing records.
