Job summary

Medical Device Manufacturing Company seeks a Design Drafter III for 1st shift to draft and model medical device components. Proficiency in CREO and AutoCAD/Draftsight is required, with GD&T knowledge and solid drafting practices essential.

On-site presence is initially 4 days a week, with later flexibility for remote work. Responsibilities include layout and production detail drawings, CAD modeling, and supporting engineers in process improvements and product development.

Qualifications

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN 55428

Shift: 1st Shift, 8 hour, Monday to Friday, Day shift

Job Description

Experience in drafting and 3D modeling in CREO and AutoCAD/Draftsight required. Knowledge of GD&T and good drafting practices essential. On-site presence required 4 days a week initially, then flexibility for WFH.

Responsibilities

• Plans, lays out, draws, models, and revises detailed engineering drawings for medical devices.
• Utilizes CAD software (CREO, AutoCAD/Draftsight) and PDM link.
• Completes details of layout drawings and prepares production detail drawings.
• Provides technical support in process improvement or product development.
• Performs testing, troubleshooting, and data manipulation.
