Job summary

Aequor in the United States Iowa is seeking a Drafter to gather drawings and specifications, calculate material and equipment needs, and set up production methods for multiple projects.

You will work with engineers and architects, create detailed CAD designs, diagrams, maps, and layouts to illustrate workflow, and review rough sketches with the team.

A technical degree or ADDA certification plus hands-on CAD experience are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Describe production methods step-by-step including equipment and software types to be used.
• Create detailed designs with CAD software.
• Design diagrams, maps and layouts to illustrate workflow.
• Prepare and review rough sketches and review them with the engineering team.
• Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality.
• Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Create manuals describing existing products' operation, features and maintenance.

Job Summary

Drafter responsibilities include gathering drawings and specifications, calculating material and equipment requirements and setting up production methods. Responsible for drafting duties on multiple projects and will be capable of all phases of a drafting project including: research, support, implementing designs as directed by engineers, redline updates, and other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities
