Aequor Information Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Drafter to gather drawings and specifications, calculate material and equipment needs, and set up production methods.

You will perform drafting across multiple projects, support research, and implement designs as directed by engineers. You will be responsible for redline updates, creating CAD designs, and drafting manuals. This role requires experience with CAD software and familiarity with 3D modeling tools, working with engineers and

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret as-built drawings.
• Able to review an electrical control panel and produce drawings from scratch.
• Proficient with CAD tools to draft and modify designs.
• Familiar with 3D modeling for product layouts and assemblies.
• Formal drafting education or certification is required (ADDA preferred).

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with architects and engineers to gather requirements.
• Compute dimensions, weights, and material needs.
• Describe production methods and software to be used.
• Produce detailed CAD designs and diagrams.
• Create workflow diagrams and layouts.
• Prepare rough sketches and review with engineering team.
• Identify issues and redesign for better functionality.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations and standards.
• Create maintenance and operation manuals for products.

Job Summary: Drafter responsibilities include gathering drawings and specifications, calculating material and equipment requirements and setting up production methods. Responsible for drafting duties on multiple projects and will be capable of all phases of a drafting project including: research, support, implementing designs as directed by engineers, redline updates, and other duties as assigned.

Top 3 Must have Skills:

• Ability to read as-built drawings
• Ability to review an electrical control panel and create drawings from scratch

Primary Responsibilities:

• Liaise with architects and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs
• Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials
• Describe production methods step-by-step (including equipment and software types to be used)
• Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Design diagrams, maps and layouts to illustrate workflow
• Prepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the engineering team
• Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality
• Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards
• Create manuals that describe existing products’ operation, features and maintenance

Qualifications:

• Technical Degree or certification from American Design Drafting Association (ADDA)
• Proven work experience as a Drafter or similar role
• Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Familiarity with 3D modeling tools
• Education: Drafting trade school, high school with 5 years experience
