Job summary

Bomar, Inc. in Charlestown, NH is seeking a Drafter to translate designs and customer requirements into technical drawings and models for current and future product lines.

You will work with engineers to develop BOMs, create detailed CAD drawings using Solidworks and AutoCAD/Draftsight, and ensure designs meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing sketches with the engineering team, and producing clear production manuals and work instructions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with 2D & 3D CAD software, Solidworks and AutoCAD/Draftsight.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing activities.
• Experience as an Engineer, Estimator, Drafter or similar.
• Detail oriented, able to work efficiently within deadlines.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $60,000.00 Annually

Drafter

The Drafter is responsible for working with our team of engineers to convert designs and customer requirements into technical plans; developing drawings/models, specifications, and material requirements of the production of current and future product lines.

• Coordinate with Engineers and Salespersons to gather product requirements and designs.
• Develop Bills of Material (BOM) calculating dimensions and requirements in materials.
• Create detailed designs with CAD (computer-aided design) software.
