Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners seeks a Design Drafter II to support trailer manufacturing in Cresco, IA. You will create CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation, while aligning with quality, cost, delivery, and safety standards.

Work with Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams to drive manufacturability and continuous improvement. The role emphasizes independent work, attention to detail, and growing technical leadership within a high-performance manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong CAD and technical documentation skills with attention to drawing accuracy.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and aluminum fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Support trailer design, customization, and product development activities.
• Participate in design reviews and engineering change processes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams to support product development.
• Drive improvements in manufacturability, quality, and cost.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective action efforts.
• Ensure designs and documentation comply with company standards and customer requirements.
• Deliver assigned work according to established schedules.
• Maintain accuracy in drawings and documentation.
• Support customer satisfaction through quality products and responsive design support.
• Contribute to Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement.
