Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Design Director for Resilient & Laminate to lead the design strategy, portfolio development, and creative direction across residential brands.

You will translate consumer insights into commercially successful collections and work closely with the Design Studio to accelerate innovation. You will collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, Innovation, Manufacturing, and Sourcing to ensure compelling design stories and timely launches, while mentoring a team

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading design teams in hard surface flooring or related fields.
• Track record of delivering successful product design and brand differentiation.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration with product, marketing, sales, and manufacturing teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to work globally.
• Innate sense for color, aesthetics, and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Define and own long‑term design vision for Resilient & Laminate categories.
• Develop category roadmaps aligned with trends and business goals.
• Translate consumer insights into market-ready collections and platforms.
• Differentiate design across brands with clear POVs and storytelling.
• Collaborate with Design Studio and cross‑functional teams on launches and optimization.
