Job summary
Jobtailor is seeking a senior design leader to head Casual Wovens, Denim Lifestyle, and Structured product within the Women's Design team for the BDG brand. You will partner with the Head of Design to translate seasonal concepts into product vision and roadmap, while pushing forward denim fits, washes, and construction.
You will mentor the design team, drive essential milestones, and collaborate across merchandising, development, and sourcing to ensure strong assortment execution and timely
Qualifications
- Significant expertise in denim, washed product, casual wovens, bottoms, jackets, and structured product.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing designers.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence.
- Exceptional taste and product instinct.
- Deep understanding of fashion, denim culture, vintage and youth trends.
Responsibilities
- Lead Casual Wovens, Denim Lifestyle, and Structured product within Women's Design for the BDG brand.
- Partner with Head of Design to translate seasonal concepts into product vision and assortment roadmaps.
- Drive evolution of denim fits, washes, fabrications, finishes, and construction.
- Identify opportunities across woven bottoms, shirting, jackets, utility, and structured silhouettes.
- Lead and mentor the Design team.
- Own seasonal milestones, calendars, and budgets.
