Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Manager, Design & Development to lead lifestyle accessory product categories across licensed and branded lines. You will guide design, 3D rendering, tech packs, and AI-assisted workflows from concept to production.

You will collaborate with licensees, vendors, and internal teams to deliver innovative bags, footwear, jewelry, and related accessories, ensuring brand standards, quality, and consumer appeal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, or related field.
• 5+ years in product design and development, preferably licensed consumer products.
• Experience creating detailed tech packs and product specifications.
• Strong proficiency in 3D design, rendering, and product visualization tools.
• Experience utilizing AI design tools within the product development process.
• Strong draw-over, illustration, and visual communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee lifestyle accessory categories, including bags, backpacks, footwear, jewelry, socks, hair accessories, and related accessories.
• Lead the design and development across multiple licensed and vertically integrated brands.
• Create detailed tech packs and supporting development documentation; provide visual feedback for licensees and manufacturers.
• Leverage AI-powered design tools and 3D design to accelerate concept development from ideation to production.
• Collaborate with licensees, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure brand standards and quality.
• Manage product approvals and cross-functional collaboration to meet timelines and launches.
