Job summary

Aman Group is seeking a Design Coordinator for our Americas region in Miami. The role supports the design team, coordinating with architects, designers, and consultants to ensure Aman’s standards are reflected in hotel and residences projects.

The candidate will review drawings, attend coordination workshops, and help translate design intent into detailed working drawings. Strong communication, organization, and MS Office skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in design or architecture is required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an architecture designer or interior designer, design coordinator or in a related role.
• Familiarity with hotel, residences and project delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, architects, designers, and consultants to implement brand design direction across hospitality projects.
• Review design consultant drawings and specifications.
• Attend project coordination workshops and ensure adherence to brand standards.
• Develop and track project schedules; follow up on action items from site visits.
• Coordinate design requirements and documentation exchanges with internal and external teams.

The successful candidate will contribute to superior design strategies and technical solutions, helping translate design intent into exceptional built outcomes that reflect Aman’s commitment to excellence, refinement, and timeless design. **Responsibilities:*** Collaborate with developers, architects, designers, and multidisciplinary consultants to advise on and implement brand-required design direction across various hospitality projects and programs.* Assist in reviewing design consultant submitted drawings and specifications* Attend project coordination workshops, ensure adherence to brand standards, and assist design and engineering consultant teams to develop the approved project design through to the working drawings* Develop and track project schedules* Support the tracking and follow-up of design and construction action items identified during and after site visits.* Collaborate with internal team members, corporate stakeholders, and external project teams to coordinate design requirements, deliverables, and documentation exchanges.* Produce meeting minutes, presentations, and reports.**Requirements:*** A bachelor’s degree in design or architecture is required* Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an architecture designer or interior designer, design coordinator or in a related role* Familiarity with hotel, residences and project delivery.
