Job summary

Porcelanosa is seeking a Design Consultant II in Rockville, MD to help showroom clients select high‑end products and translate visions into tangible displays. You’ll collaborate with a creative team, maintain showroom displays, and strive to meet sales objectives while delivering exceptional service in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Competitive compensation includes base pay plus commission, plus comprehensive benefits such as a 401K match, medical, vision, HSA/FSA, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience preferred in showroom environments.
• Ability to demonstrate products and promote services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Take part in training and development programs to keep abreast of company and market information.
• Introduce, demonstrate, promote and sell existing and new products/services in the showroom.
• Help maintain, update and design showroom displays, exhibitors and merchandising programs.
• Work to meet or exceed sales objectives in terms of volume and margin.
• Participate in the preparation of sales budgets for the showroom as assigned.
• Quote prices, prepare proposals and provide information regarding terms of sale and delivery
• Coach junior showroom sales personnel and impart training as necessary.
• Schedule and visit customers to support, close or service showroom sales.
• Gather data on product/service tastes and trends exhibited by buyers in the showroom as required.
• Receive and process cash instruments in settlement of showroom sales.
