Job summary

QVC Group is hiring a Design Consultant to elevate guest experience with our complimentary design service. The role partners with other consultants to expand market reach and promote external outreach within the community. You will be the guest engagement champion and report to the Store Leader.

This on-site position is based at our Oakbrook, IL location with relocation not offered. Apply your design skills to scheduled, virtual, and on-demand time slots in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of interior design, consultation, and event planning experience.
• Space planning skills.
• Basic drafting skills; ability to read architectural and floor plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide design expertise for scheduled appointments (Studio and Home visits), virtual appointments, and on-demand design time.
• Identify and network with local organizations and businesses for DS marketing materials.
• Support the retail store team with order entry, visual floorsets, merchandising, and store maintenance training.

As a Design Consultant, you will be responsible for elevating our guest experience with an emphasis on nurturing the growth of our complimentary design service. Your partnership with other Design Consultants will help promote external outreach within the community to support and expand our current market reach. You are the champion of guest engagement, so our guests will experience an inspiring shopping event where they feel empowered to customize their space. You will report to the Store Leader

Where You'll Work

This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Oakbrook, IL, location daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

• Provide design expertise for scheduled appointments (Studio and Home visits), virtual appointments, and "on-demand" design time
• Identify and network with local organizations and businesses that would benefit from Design Solutions services and provide them with DS marketing materials.
• Support the retail store team in varied responsibilities, including order entry, visual floorsets and merchandising reinforcement of store maintenance and standards, and product training activities

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years’ experience in interior design, consultation, and event planning
• Space planning skills
• Employ basic drafting skills with the ability to read and interpret architectural plans and basic floor plans
• Conduct Home Visits with established guests and a valid driver's license
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays #LI-Onsite

Compensation and Benefits
