Job summary

QVC Group's Ballard Designs is seeking a Design Consultant to join our Oak Brook, IL team on-site. You will provide design expertise for studio, home, and virtual appointments and drive the guest experience by helping customers customize their spaces.

You will network with local organizations, support the retail team with orders, floorsets, merchandising, and training. A driver’s license and flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of interior design, consultation, and event planning.
• Space planning skills.
• Read and interpret architectural plans and floor plans.
• Conduct Home Visits with a valid driver's license.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide design expertise for scheduled appointments, virtual appointments, and on-demand design time.
• Identify and network with local organizations and businesses for Design Solutions services.
• Support the store team with order entry, visual floorsets, merchandising, and store maintenance.
