Job summary

Army Residence Community in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced facilities/operations professional to support day-to-day community operations, oversee unit turnover, and manage capital and expansion projects while ensuring life safety and OSHA compliance.

Job description

PURPOSE OF JOB: To provide service support on all matters concerning the day-to-day operations of the community and the welfare of its residents in the following areas: unit turn over, special projects, capital projects, expansion projects, capital budget management, operating budget management,, life safety and OSHA compliance as it relates to job worksite regulations.

Unit turnover is defined as renovation/remodel of existing vacated units to enhance marketability, the enhancement of current residences per resident request for upgraded services and routine renovations/remodeling of currently aged occupied residences as normal wear/tear occur.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Commitment to ARC’s mission & philosophy of providing, exemplary customer service to our residents.
  • Associate Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Ability to process problems and recommend sound solutions to such problems.
  • Calm and intelligent with developed conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to maintain essential written & electronic records and reports.
  • Effective communicator and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated and independent thinker while maintaining strong and loyal team relationships.
  • Demonstrated strong judgment and integrity.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, presentation, computer, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Eager to learn and if necessary attend training to obtain certifications.
  • 3 plus years related experience required
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid, current Driver’s License. & Vehicle Insurance
  • Uses good safety habits at all times.
  • Professional & Neat, Clean appearance.
  • Ability to work well in Team environment with wide range of people.
  • Must be willing to work overtime if needed
  • May be necessary to work weekend on occasion.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure repairs & quality of work are completed in a timely manner.
  • Must be flexible regarding work assignments
  • Comply with OSHA standards
  • Must pass pre-employment requirements (criminal background check, drug screening, etc.) in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies
