Daimler Truck North America in Portland, Oregon is offering a summer internship as an Intern Modeler/Technician. You will learn through real-life projects, build models using clay, foam, metal and wood, and contribute to DTNA’s multi-branded product portfolio including Freightliner and Western Star.

You’ll refine your tooling and fabrication skills while supporting design intent models and concepts across Design Center, Marketing, Engineering and OPCOM.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in an Associates or Bachelor's program or recently graduated within 1 year (May/June).
• Pursuing a degree in fabrication, or automotive finishing or related.
• Engineering drawing knowledge to translate to physical models and components.
• Ability to read and operate metal/woodworking machines safely.
• Automotive paint processes, surface prep, priming and sanding.

• Support concept development for exterior, interior, and HMI components.
• Create and refine 3D models and scale components for Design Center and cross-functional teams.
• Support design workflows, meet timing and deliverable commitments.
• Foster an inclusive and welcoming workplace culture.
