Job summary

Alliance Construction & Design is seeking a Design-Build Structural Engineer to take concepts through construction. You will design, analyze, and ensure structural integrity for new and existing projects, with field involvement and coordination with architects, PMs, and field teams.

Responsibilities include calculating loads, preparing drawings in AutoCAD/Revit, selecting materials, and inspecting contractor work to ensure code compliance. PE/SE is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5 years of proven experience as a Structural Engineer.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for structural design.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and calculate loads on foundations, beams, columns, and walls.
• Prepare detailed structural designs and drawings using CAD software.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop integrated designs.
• Provide technical guidance through all construction phases and review shop drawings.
• Inspect on-site work to ensure compliance with design specifications and codes.
• Advise on repair options and modifications for existing structures.
• Manage budgets and timelines related to structural scope.
