Horrocks is seeking a Design-Build Roadway Lead/Manager in Las Vegas to spearhead transportation projects for our Innovative Pursuits Team. You will lead roadway design efforts, coordinate with discipline leads, and drive design, analysis, and documentation to meet client goals.

Ideal candidates have a PE license (preferred), 10+ years in transportation design, and 5+ years leading roadway design with DOT DB/PDB experience.

Qualifications

• PE license preferred (state(s) UT/NV/AZ/ID/CO/NM/WA)
• 10+ years in transportation infrastructure design
• 5+ years leading roadway design for infrastructure projects
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience
• Able to lead a team and maintain positive client relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication and meeting project deadlines

Responsabilités

• Lead roadway discipline engineering teams for Transportation DB/PDB pursuits and projects
• Coordinate with discipline leads
• Be an integral member of the project management and delivery team
• Lead roadway design, analyses, studies, reports, plans, specs, and quantity tasks
• Utilize Microstation OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D for transportation projects
• Work as a team leader and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients
• Be available for local and Rocky Mountain Region projects
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management
• Grow professionally within project teams to meet client goals

Responsibilities, Expectations, and Duties:

• Lead roadway discipline engineering teams for Transportation (freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural highways, and shared use facilities) DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects
• Coordinate with other discipline leads
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team
• Lead roadway design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
• Knowledge and experience with Microstation OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to the field of transportation engineering
• Work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
• Ability and commitment to be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff, and management
• Proven history of meeting project deadlines
• A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment to create designs and drawings supporting our client's overall project goals

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:

• Current PE license, preferred state(s): UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA
• 10+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design
• 5+ years of leading roadway design for infrastructure projects
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience
• Must be able to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
• Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels
• Organized and detail-oriented
