Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Construction Design/Build Project Manager to lead complex design/build projects from concept through completion. You will manage estimating, scheduling, design coordination, cost tracking, safety, and proposal development while guiding subcontractors and on-site teams.

You will collaborate with clients and design teams to turn preliminary concepts into buildable solutions, participate in proposal meetings, and drive value-driven engineering insights.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering undergraduate or graduate program.
• Interest in design/build, tilt-up concrete, and industrial builds.
• Past construction experience is preferred but not required.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent verbal communication, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license in your state.

Responsibilities

• Lead every facet of the project from start to finish including estimating, scheduling, quality control, billing, design coordination, cost tracking, safety, and proposal development.
• Deliver accurate, detailed project estimates to set up successful execution.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to shape concepts into buildable solutions.
• Influence the big picture by participating in proposal meetings and refining scope.
• Lead subcontractor selection and buyout for cost-effective partnerships.
• Drive on-site communication with bi-weekly site meetings to align teams.
• Make confident, principled decisions under pressure.
• Coordinate multiple moving parts to stay within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Champion quality and continuous improvement across processes.
• Turn client feedback into outcomes that exceed expectations.
• Lead with integrity and deliver outcomes that keep client satisfaction central.
