Job summary

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field and 10+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years in design-build. Travel and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field required.
• 10+ years of relevant project management experience.
• 5+ years of Design-Build project experience.
• Heavy civil construction experience preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to travel is required.
• Excellent time management and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
• Manage project budgets and minimize exposure and risk on projects.
• Ensure procurement and proposal development activities move according to schedule.
• Ensure construction activities move according to schedule and communicate delays to appropriate parties.
• Coordinate development of project work plans and revise as needed.
• Perform constructability reviews.
• Communicate effectively with contractors and vendors responsible for work.
• Coordinate efforts of owner, architect, consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors.
• Monitor progress and hold regular status meetings with clients and/or consultant team.
• Maintain adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Inspect and review construction sites.
• Ensure project documents are compliant.
• Perform other duties as required.
