Ausland Group is a connected design-build firm in the Pacific Northwest seeking a Project Engineer to join an integrated team of architects, engineers, and builders. You’ll work with a Project Manager and in-house design to ensure designs become high-impact, real-world projects.

You’ll collaborate across disciplines, manage documentation, and contribute to budgeting and scheduling while leveraging modern tools in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Hold (or be earning) a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Relevant work or internship experience welcomed for early-career candidates.
• Stay calm and organized under pressure; solve complex problems and communicate clearly.

• Take initiative, follow through, and hold yourself accountable.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of project delivery—from early design collaboration through final closeout
• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with architects, engineers, and construction managers in a fully integrated team
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and clients to align design intent with real-world execution
• Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and contracts across both design and build phases
• Track budgets, change orders, and commitments
• Assist with estimating, bidding, and scope development during preconstruction
• Help maintain and adjust project schedules, identifying critical path items from design through construction
• Support field teams with procurement and logistics to keep projects on track
• Leverage Autodesk Construction Cloud, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Co-Pilot
• Grow into a trusted problem-solver who connects strategy with execution
