ARCO Companies in Kansas City, MO is seeking a motivated Project Manager to lead government services projects from estimate through design and build. You will coordinate with clients and the design team, manage subcontractor buyouts, schedules, cost reporting, and quality control to ensure on-time delivery.

The position requires 3–5 years of design/build construction experience with a general contractor, plus proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field; GPA minimum 3.0.
• 3-5 years' design/build construction experience with a general contractor preferred.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage all managerial and administrative aspects of government services projects, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports and cost reporting.
• Ensure accurate and complete project estimates and collaborate with government reps and design teams on preliminary drawings.
• Participate in proposal meetings, review scope, propose cost-saving ideas and value engineering.
• Oversee buyout of subcontractors, conduct bi-weekly on-site meetings and manage multiple activities to meet expectations.
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines while maintaining integrity and client focus.
