Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead complex design-build projects in Kansas City, MO. You will coordinate estimates, scheduling, subcontractor buyouts, and on-site meetings with owners and design teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role emphasizes leadership, meticulous cost control, safety, and strong communication to exceed client expectations and maintain ARCO’s award-winning workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA
• 3–5 years of design/build construction experience with a general contractor preferred
• Cold storage experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage both managerial and administrative aspects of a project including estimating, scheduling, quality control, and progress reporting
• Develop accurate project estimates and coordinate with owners and design team on concepts
• Oversee buyout, subcontractor selection, and bi-weekly on-site meetings to ensure milestones are met
• Provide value engineering ideas and manage cost reporting, safety, and client communications
