Job summary

ARCO Design/Build in Atlanta seeks a Construction Design/Build Project Manager to lead projects from concept through closeout. You will own estimating, scheduling, cost tracking, subcontractor buyouts, and on-site coordination with clients and design teams to deliver high-impact, buildable solutions.

The role requires passion for construction, strong communication, and experience or strong interest in design/build processes. A hybrid environment and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering program (or related engineering majors).
• Strong interest in the design/build process, tilt-up concrete, industrial builds, etc.
• Previous construction experience preferred but not required.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent verbal communication, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Lead every facet of the project from start to finish, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, billing, design coordination, cost tracking, safety and proposal development.
• Deliver accurate, detailed project estimates for successful execution.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to turn preliminary concepts into buildable solutions.
• Influence the big picture by participating in proposal meetings and refining scope and costs.
• Lead subcontractor selection and buyout to ensure cost-effective partnerships.
• Drive on-site communication with bi-weekly site meetings and progress alignment.
• Make confident decisions under pressure to keep projects on scope, schedule and budget.
• Champion quality and continuous improvement by monitoring processes and outcomes.
• Turn client feedback into measurable results that exceed expectations.
• Lead with integrity and deliver with purpose to keep client satisfaction as a core priority.
