Job summary

Qualifications
- Proven experience leading a CAD/automation team (4+ reports).
- Advanced hands-on DriveWorks Pro with project ownership.
- Advanced SolidWorks and CAD data structures knowledge.
- Experience administering SolidWorks PDM.
- ERP integration and data workflows (Epicor preferred).
- Configuration‑driven design and automation experience.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, weldments a plus).
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4+ CAD engineers/administrators.
- Define and drive the long-term roadmap for CAD systems, automation, and PDM.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Allocate team resources across projects, balancing duties and initiatives.
- Own administration and strategic direction of CAD tools and DriveWorks.
- Oversee DriveWorks projects, licenses, forms, and workflows.
- Publish a DriveWorks coverage roadmap by product family.
- Drive guided selling and configurator-led quoting via DriveWorks Live.
- Govern CAD and PDM operations across multiple GPC facilities.
