Job summary

STS Technical Services in Milwaukee, Wisconsin seeks a Design Automation Manager to lead CAD, PDM and design automation strategy for configure-to-order and engineered-to-order manufacturing.

The role requires an experienced technical leader with advanced knowledge of DriveWorks, SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM who can build a CAD and automation team, improve system performance and drive configuration-based automation across engineering, manufacturing, sales and IT.

Qualifications

• Experience managing CAD or automation teams.
• Advanced knowledge of DriveWorks Pro and CAD data structures.
• Experience with DriveWorks Autopilot, Live and Pro Server.
• ERP data workflows and PDM administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a CAD team of 4+ engineers and admins.
• Define long-term roadmap for CAD systems, design automation and PDM.
• Establish DriveWorks as the primary platform for automation and quoting.
• Oversee DriveWorks configuration, rules, forms and workflows.
• Coordinate ERP integrations and data flows with CAD and PDM.
