Job summary

Medial Group in Humacao, Puerto Rico, seeks a software test engineer with CAD application experience to join our on-site team. You will develop CAD testing methods, assess architecture, prepare design specifications, and support vendor evaluations.

Requirements include 2–5 years of testing experience, Windows or Linux desktop environments, 3D CAD design, SCADA/HMI/PLC experience, and bilingual communication. On-site position in Humacao, PR.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of direct application testing experience, preferably in Windows or Linux desktop environments.
• Experience with 3D CAD Design, SCADA/HMI/PLC applications, and automation testing.
• Experience with PLC programming, vision systems, robotics, CAD design and wiring, bilingual.

Responsibilities

Develops and applies computer aided design (CAD) software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems.

Assessing architecture and hardware limitations, plans technical projects in the design and development of CAD software.

Defines and selects new approaches and implementation of CAD software engineering applications and design specifications and parameters.

Develops routines and utility programs.

Prepares design specifications, analysis and recommendations for presentation and approval.

May specify materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of projects and may evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.

Requirements

2 to 5 years of direct application testing experience, preferably within a Windows or Linux desktop environment and including automation in the regulated industry. Experience in 3D CAD Design, Development of SCADA, HMI and PLC applications. Experience with PLC Programming & Controls, Vision Systems & Robotics and CAD Design & Wiring. Bachelor Degree in Engineering completed. (Preferably Mechanical or Electrical). Bilingual.
