Job summary

Unispace seeks an Associate Designer for the US Design team in the Southern Region, driving design pitches, leading commercial workplace projects, and expanding client relationships. You will collaborate with Sales, Strategy, Preconstruction, and Delivery to win work and deliver excellence across the project lifecycle.

You will mentor Designers and Senior Designers, uphold Unispace standards, and contribute to the growth of the studio through innovative design and cross-functional teamwork.

• Strategic and commercial acumen including project financials and market trends.
• Technical mastery of design tools and drawing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-profile workplace design projects from inception through delivery.
• Manage senior client relationships, navigating requirements and expectations.
• Lead RFP responses, craft winning design narratives and pitches.
• Direct and mentor Designers and Senior Designers on drawings and standards.
• Collaborate across internal teams and external partners following Unispace methodology.
• Advance design best practices, sustainability, and technology adoption.
• Identify and mitigate design and commercial risks with leadership.
• Stay ahead of workplace trends to translate insights into client solutions.
