Job summary

Kitchen Tune-Up Grand Rapids is seeking a friendly, organized showroom coordinator to welcome walk-ins and guide customers through displays. You will serve as the main contact, coordinating communications and updates as projects move from visit to installation.

Ideal candidates have a good eye for design, are polished communicators, and eager to learn our systems. This full-time role offers growth into broader design work or sales within a local, family-owned business.

Responsibilities

• Greet showroom visitors and answer questions; help explore displays and samples.

• Coordinate scheduling and follow-ups so project details move smoothly.
• Assist with design selections and document every choice for records.
• Keep records accurate and maintain a well-presented showroom with current samples.

Kitchen Tune-Up of Grand Rapids is a locally owned kitchen and bath remodeling company, and our showroom is where customers start picturing their new kitchen. We're looking for the person who makes it feel welcoming — and who then stays with our customers as a friendly point of contact from first visit to finished project. Your days center on people and moving parts: greeting walk-ins, coordinating projects through scheduling and installation, keeping customers informed, and helping them finalize selections that make a kitchen theirs — cabinet finishes, countertops, tile, hardware. Our systems handle routine updates; your job is the personal contact on top of them, a real person customers know by name. If you have an eye for color and style and energy for people, we will train you.

Regular weekday business hours

nights and weekends are rare.

This role is hired with growth in mind. As your skills develop, there's room to take on larger responsibility — deeper design work, a path toward sales, or a hand in running the business side.

What you’ll do

• Welcome the showroom — greet walk-ins, answer questions, help visitors explore displays and samples
• Serve as each customer's communication touchpoint — check-in calls, emails, and texts that keep them informed and reassured
• Coordinate scheduling and follow-ups so every project's details keep moving
• Support selection appointments, helping customers finalize design selections and documenting each choice
• Keep selection records accurate, and the showroom sharp with samples current
