Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks an engineer to capture D&V EME requirements and translate them into robust product specifications. You will design and test Gen4 EME board-level circuits including Buck/Boost topologies to meet customer requirements, and verify performance at both product and circuit levels.

You will also set up the EME & DCE with Powertrain Inverter and deliver evaluation reports for system testing.

Qualifications

• Worst-case circuit analysis and DFMEA experience.
• Experience with Buck and Boost topologies.
• HV systems design involving >800V and high current switches.

Responsibilities

• Capture and translate D&V EME requirements into product specifications.
• Design and test Gen4 EME board-level circuits including Buck/Boost topologies per customer requirements.
• Ensure features meet specified performance at product and circuit levels.
• Set up EME & DCE with Powertrain Inverter and provide evaluation reports for system testing.

Job description

1. 1. D&V EME requirements capturing and translating them into product specifications.

2. 2. Conduct Gen4 EME board-level design and testing of circuits (including pertaining to

   Buck tray, Boost tray, Supervisory board) based on customer requirements.

3. 3. Ensure the customer's desired features and performance levels are designed and tested

   at product level and circuit level.

4. 4. Setup the EME & DCE along with Powertrain Inverter system and provide analysis report

   for system evaluation.

Skills:

• a. Worst case circuit analysis, Component failure modes in design or DFMEA
• b. Experience with Buck, Boost topologies.
• c. Experience with high voltage >800V and high current switches

2. Hands on Equipment: Soldering, Oscilloscope, PXle and its interfacing sensors,

Multimeter, DCE, EME, High voltage power supplies.

3. Software: Any software experience with Schematic design, PCB, Simulation
