Job summary

Claffey Pools is seeking a skilled Pool Sales and Design Consultant to guide clients from first consultation through project completion, crafting exceptional outdoor living spaces in the DFW area.

You will lead design concepts, prepare detailed proposals, and collaborate with builders and landscapers to ensure designs meet client visions, while managing pricing, timelines, and ongoing client communications.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
• Five years of Pool Sales experience is required.
• Proficiency in Evosus is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is advantageous.
• Ability to use AutoCAD is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand outdoor living needs, budget, and site opportunities.
• Design bespoke pool and outdoor living concepts aligned with client vision.
• Prepare pricing estimates and compelling project proposals for presentations.
• Build relationships with builders, landscapers, and industry partners to generate referrals.
• Use Pool Studio and CRM to streamline design processes and presentations.
• Work Saturdays and ensure flexible scheduling for client needs.
• Follow up with customers throughout the sales journey to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete all paperwork, contracts, and client information accurately.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor products to position the company well.

Job Description:

As a Pool Sales and Design Consultant at Claffey Pools, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional outdoor living spaces for our clients. You will be responsible for guiding clients through the entire process, from initial consultation to project completion, ensuring their visions are realized with precision and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their outdoor living needs, preferences, and budgetary considerations. Conduct thorough site evaluations to assess space availability and potential design opportunities as well as potential issues to project planning.
• Design and Development: Utilize your creative prowess and knowledge of outdoor design and develop bespoke pool and outdoor living creations. Collaborate with clients to refine designs and assure alignment with their vision.
• Project Pricing and Presentation: Prepare comprehensive project proposals, including detailed pricing estimates and presentation materials. Clearly articulate the proposed project scope, design concepts, and value proposition to clients during in-office presentations.
• Relationship Building: Actively cultivate relationships with related businesses, such as builders and landscapers, to generate referrals and expand our network of industry partners. Participate in marketing events, seminars, and trade shows to promote our services and foster brand awareness.
• Software Utilization: Leverage company utilized software tools, including Pool Studio, and CRM to streamline the design processes, enhance client presentations, and ensure project accuracy.
• Flexibility and Availability: Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs. This position does require you to work Saturdays.
• Follow-up: Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the sales journey, from initial contact to post-sale-follow-up, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long term relationships.
• Administrative Tasks: Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly, including sales contracts and customer information forms
• Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to strategically position our company in the marketplace.

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements:

• A degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
• Five years of Pool Sales experience is required.
• Proficiency in Evosus a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is advantageous.
• Ability to use AutoCAD is advantageous.
