Client team in St. Louis, Missouri has immediate and exciting opportunities for Experienced Mid-Level System Design Electrical Engineers to support multiple critical programs.
The electrical design work will be in support of developing maintenance equipment to include connections between equipment and aircraft subsystems, network infrastructure, and computing hardware supporting instrumentation and network system connections. Additionally, the engineer will provide support for fabrication, installation/connection, and required verification to deliver a ready-for-test setup. The equipment and software for the CMCS is used to support all phases of platform/weapon development and sustainment lifecycle. This individual will work in a team environment to develop, test, and repair the hardware design for the CMCS system.
A System Design Electrical Engineer in this role works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements, analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications. The engineer also performs tests and validations to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements, monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements, and solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment – OJT or formal classroom training.
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Full‑Time / First Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
