Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy in Wisconsin is seeking a Laborer to support construction crews on site. The role involves general cleanup, material handling, trenching, scaffolding, and assisting skilled trades, under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in construction/manual labor is an asset but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions accurately and safely.
• Basic understanding of construction site safety practices is a plus.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleanup and debris removal on construction sites.
• Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and level earth to grade specifications using hand tools.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks or other conveyances.
• Assist skilled tradespeople by carrying materials, holding tools, and providing general support.
• Prepare and clean surfaces for painting, sealing, or other finishes.
• Operate small hand tools and power tools under supervision.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic control signs, and other temporary structures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Flag traffic or direct vehicles as needed to ensure safety of workers and the public.
