Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy seeks a Civil/Mechanical Equipment Operator for the Desert Pine BESS project. You will operate a range of heavy equipment on site, perform pre‑op checks, and strictly follow safety protocols.

The role supports offloading, staging, and installation of BESS components while reading blueprints to ensure accurate execution. With 3–5 years of heavy equipment experience, you will collaborate with the crew to maintain schedule and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating heavy civil and/or mechanical construction equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, grades, and survey stakes.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy civil and mechanical equipment on site (e.g., excavators, dozers, loaders, forklifts, telehandlers).

Job Overview:Job Summary**The Civil/Mechanical Equipment Operator for the Desert Pine BESS project will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy civil and mechanical equipment on-site, contributing to the successful construction and installation of battery energy storage systems (BESS).
