Desert Hills Outlet Store in Cabazon, CA is seeking a Regular Part-Time Sales Associate/Keyholder to support the management team in achieving store productivity goals and driving sales through customer service and staff training.

The role involves leading by example in selling techniques, client development, and daily operations, with an emphasis on maintaining product knowledge and visual merchandising. Commission is included in pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Retail jewelry and watch experience highly desirable.
• Flexible with work schedule to work days, evenings, weekends per the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the management team to achieve the store’s sales plans through consistent sales motivation, staff training, and customer service.
• Develop a selling culture in the store.
• Model exemplary selling techniques and customer service.
• Train, supervise, and develop all store associates in customer service, clientele, product knowledge, visual merchandising, and store operations.
• Lead team to ensure all members are goal oriented, motivated and productive.
• Ensure that all case lines are clean, pricing is correct and product is well merchandised.
• Manage the store when the General Manager and Assistant Manager are not present.
• Maintain adequate sales floor coverage.
• Track and communicate KPI metrics clearly and achieve them.
• Develop long-term clients through effective customer service.

Summary

The Part Time Key Holder assists the management team in motivating hand inspiring their team to achieve store productivity goals. They assist the management team to develop action plans and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work as part of the management team to achieve the store’s sales plans through consistent sales motivation, staff training, and customer service.
• Develop a selling culture in the store.

• Works as part of the management team to train, supervise, and develop all store associates in customer service, clientele, company history, product knowledge, visual merchandising, and store operations.
• Leads team to ensure that all members of the store team are goal oriented, motivated and productive.
• Insures that all case lines are clean, pricing is correct and product is well merchandised.
• Responsible for managing the store when the General Manager and Assistant Manager are not there.
• Maintains adequate sales floor coverage.
• Assist the management team to track and ensure that KPI metrics are clearly communicated and achieved.
• Work with management team to ensure that sales associates are developing and maintaining long-term clients through the effective use of customer service.
