Job summary

TETRA Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead Field Technician to drive day-to-day field activities at a remote West Texas desalination facility. You will supervise technicians, prioritize tasks, and ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in water treatment or industrial maintenance, an open GED/Associate degree, a valid driver's license, and can work rotating shifts including nights and overtime while coordinating with operations and contractors.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in water treatment, desalination, industrial manufacturing or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to guide work, communicate priorities, and supervise field teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field activities at a remote West Texas desalination facility.
• Coordinate daily work assignments for field technicians and manage shift coverage.
• Operate, monitor, and optimize desalination and water treatment processes; escalate safety or production concerns as needed.
• Lead hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of plant equipment.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and field troubleshooting to maximize equipment reliability.
• Provide hands-on training and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
